Find the CISD: the game to spot a Change in State of Delivery

Loading the game…

CISD sounds complicated on paper. On the chart, it is a single candle: you just need to know which one. The game: three real Nasdaq or gold charts. Spot the runs of same-colour candles, then tap the one that closes beyond their open.

How to play

Pick a level, then find the CISD on three charts in a row. Tap the right candle and the answer appears on the chart; tap the wrong one and the game shows you what is off, candle by candle. After each chart, the answer lists every solution with its time and price.

Easy: unlimited mistakes. Medium: three mistakes. Hard: just one. You can stretch the candles by dragging the price or time scale, as on TradingView.

The rule that keeps score

A run is at least 3 candles of the same colour in a row. Its level: the open of its first candle, where the move started being delivered.

The CISD is the first candle that closes beyond that level the other way, within the 12 candles after the run. If price carries on first, or a new run the same way begins, it no longer counts. Only the body counts: a wick beyond is not enough. A chart where a close grazes the level, or where a run with no CISD is closed beyond later, is left out: there is no sure answer.

Why train this way

Knowing the definition is good. Spotting it in a blink on a moving chart is something else, and that is exactly what this game trains: lots of charts, the answer straight away, the explanation when you get it wrong. Your eye learns fast, with nothing to learn by heart. It is a reading exercise on past data, not a trading signal.
