Find the FVGs: the game to spot a Fair Value Gap

Loading the game…

The FVG is the best-known ICT concept. Spotting it fast and without hesitation is another story. Three real Nasdaq or gold charts, three FVGs hidden in each. Tap the candle that left the gap.

How to play

Pick a level, then find the three FVGs on three charts in a row. Tap the right candle and the answer appears on the chart; tap the wrong one and the game shows you what is off, candle by candle. After each chart, the answer lists every solution with its time and price.

Easy: unlimited mistakes. Medium: three mistakes. Hard: just one. You can stretch the candles by dragging the price or time scale, as on TradingView.

The rule that keeps score

An FVG is three candles in a row where the 1st and the 3rd do not overlap: the low of the 3rd stays above the high of the 1st (bullish FVG), or its high stays below the low of the 1st (bearish). The right answer is the middle candle, the one that created the gap.

At the hard level, only FVGs still open count. An FVG is filled as soon as a candle comes back into the gap, even with a wick: it then shows in grey, as a trap.

Why train this way

Knowing the definition is good. Spotting it in a blink on a moving chart is something else, and that is exactly what this game trains: lots of charts, the answer straight away, the explanation when you get it wrong. Your eye learns fast, with nothing to learn by heart. It is a reading exercise on past data, not a trading signal.
