The trend: the game to tell if the market is going up, down or nowhere

Loading the game…

The question to ask before every trade: is the market going up, down, or hesitating? Chapter 3 of the beginner path. The last two highs, the last two lows, and one rule: up, down or range.

How to play

The guided chart compares the last two highs, then the last two lows. At Easy, the highs and lows are already marked: pick the trend. At Medium and Hard, find them first, then pick.

The rule that keeps score

Up: the last high AND the last low are above the previous ones. Down: both below. Range: they disagree. Only clear highs and lows count, above (or below) the 2 candles on each side.

A chart where two highs (or two lows) are almost level is never shown: the eye cannot tell.

The beginner path

Eight chapters and an exam, from the market to the first trade: the market, the candle, highs and lows, the trend, the break of structure, support and resistance, risk, then the decision, and the final exam that brings it all together. Each one can be played on its own, in any order; Easy is for practice; a chapter is passed when every chart of a game at Medium or Hard is. It is an exercise on past data, not a trading signal.
