Find the stop hunt: the game to spot a liquidity sweep

Loading the game…

The market loves to shake everyone out right before it moves. Learn to recognise the trap. The game: three real Nasdaq or gold charts. Tap the candle whose wick goes beyond a high or a low, then closes back. Real breaks are traps.

How to play

Pick a level, then find the stop hunt on three charts in a row. Tap the right candle and the answer appears on the chart; tap the wrong one and the game shows you what is off, candle by candle. After each chart, the answer lists every solution with its time and price.

Easy: unlimited mistakes. Medium: three mistakes. Hard: just one. You can stretch the candles by dragging the price or time scale, as on TradingView.

The rule that keeps score

The level: a clear high or low, surrounded by 2 lower (or higher) candles on each side, which price has not gone beyond yet. Beyond it sit the stops, and the orders of those waiting for the break.

The stop hunt is the first candle whose wick goes clearly beyond that level but closes clearly back, and whose next 2 candles do not close beyond. A candle that closes beyond is a real break: it shows as a trap. A chart where a wick or a close grazes the level is left out: there is no sure answer.

Why train this way

Knowing the definition is good. Spotting it in a blink on a moving chart is something else, and that is exactly what this game trains: lots of charts, the answer straight away, the explanation when you get it wrong. Your eye learns fast, with nothing to learn by heart. It is a reading exercise on past data, not a trading signal.
